The Mosque of HASSAN II which was a crowning achievement of King Hassan II, is a phenomenal building that was built to commemorate the former king’s 60th birthday. It opened in 1993 giving Casablanca the heart and landmark it was searching for. Standing 210 meters high, the minaret of the mosque is considered the tallest in the world (taller than the great pyramid Cheops). The mosque rises above the ocean on a rocky outcrop reclaimed from the sea. The building, designed by Michel Pinseau, a French architect, is the perfect embodiment of Morocco’s rich cultural heritage. A must see! The visit is to be combined with lunch at a restaurant overlooking the sea.

Hammam
Villa Diyafa offers the truly Moroccan hammam experience which takes you on a journey through time and tradition. First, you experience the steam from the hammam hot room and this is followed by a treatment in the warm treatement room where a gentle brushing with a kessa glove works to exfoliate your skin, before a traditional ghassoul (clay) mask is applied to detoxify and remove impurities. You will feel like new!

The coaching sessions are held in the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, rated 2nd best in Africa, which has 3 Courses totaling 45 holes catering for beginners and professionals alike. All of this is situated just 5 minutes away from Villa Diyafa. Valid year-round, based on availability.
