Villa Diyafa (from the Arabic “Hospitality”) is a boutique hotel with 10 suites and one villa. Located in the Ambassadors District of Rabat, the design of the hotel’s spaces is inspired by the life and art of Zyriab (789 – 857, who lived in Cordoba-Andalucía, Spain) an exceptional man known for his artistic sensibility and passion for the art of fine living.

Zyriab’s life was chosen to accent the interiors of Villa Diyafa: each room, piece of furniture or artwork pays tribute to his vision, and can be felt throughout the Villa Diyafa experience.

The property is privately owned and operated and is a member of the Relais & Châteaux® collection of worldwide fine quality hotels. The Villa opened in 2014.

Our hotel’s most locally inspired space is reserved for hotel guests and their invitees. The Library is a calm and quiet private lounge brought to life with vibrant Moroccan colours and warmed by a natural wood fireplace.

A connecting private working room is also available for guests who wish to relax or work in an even more private setting.

With its interiors inspired by Ziryab, the Library’s collection of books is complemented by an ambient background sound system to further enhance the atmosphere for reading, chatting, and relaxing.

Only 15 minutes from Rabat’s city centre, Villa Diyafa is an ideal venue for small corporate events, board retreats or professional association gatherings.

Our elegant meeting room of 54m² can accommodate up to 20 persons. Natural daylight flows into the room endowed with its own terrace (28 m²) giving onto garden views.
